Send original, unpublished work conforming to the Chicago Manual of Style with abstract and keywords.

A Message from the Chief Editor
I am Dr. Stephen Onyango Ouma, a scholar and PhD holder in Philosophy, an international author, and a reviewer for several reputable global publishing houses. Drawing from my experience in academic research, writing, peer review, and editorial practice within international publishing environments, I am honored to serve as the Director of Consolata International University Press and Editor-in-Chief of Horizons Journal.
I warmly welcome you to our academic publishing platform, dedicated to the advancement of rigorous scholarship, critical inquiry, and the responsible dissemination of knowledge. Consolata International University is proud to steward two complementary publishing arms that promote intellectual excellence and global scholarly engagement.
1 Consolata International University Press
The Press is devoted to the publication of scholarly books, monographs, and edited volumes, with a principal emphasis on philosophy, while also embracing theology and other disciplines that meet high academic standards. Our mission is to nurture original research, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and contribute to both regional and international academic conversations.
We currently host two dynamic and growing series:
- Philosophy Series — advancing rigorous philosophical scholarship, engaging both classical traditions and contemporary debates.
- Theology Series — fostering critical theological reflection, interdisciplinary engagement, and contextually grounded scholarship.
2 Horizons Journal
Horizons Journal is our flagship annual, peer-reviewed journal, devoted strictly to philosophy, with a limited and carefully curated provision for interdisciplinary contributions that meaningfully engage philosophical questions. The journal provides a platform for sustained scholarly dialogue, critical reflection, and the development of innovative ideas within the discipline.
3 Ethics & Integrity in Publishing
We uphold strict policies on academic integrity, including zero tolerance for plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical research practices. Authors are required to submit original and unpublished work, properly acknowledge all sources and contributions, and disclose any conflicts of interest where applicable.
4 Production, Accessibility & Dissemination
All our publications — both books and journal issues — are produced in print and online formats, ensuring broad accessibility and global reach. Horizons Journal is published annually, maintaining a consistent contribution to philosophical scholarship.
